Villa Dalmatia

Villa Dalmatia is a traditional Dalmatian stone house from the 19th century renovated into a comfortable villa for 6 to 8 persons. It has just over 130 m² of interior, a courtyard with a swimming pool, a roofed outside sitting area, a garden and a covered parking place.

On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and an exit to the „solar" - a sunbathing area with a view of the sea. The wooden stairway connects the first floor bedrooms with the living room on the groundfloor where there used to be a room for keeping olive oil, wine and tools.

Apart from the living room with a TV and a fireplace, there is also a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, master bedroom with a large bathroom, additional toilet and one more bathroom on the groundfloor. There is an exit from the master bedroom to the small romantic back garden with a terrace. The forecourt boasts with a swimming pool with a hydro massage bench and a garden with an old olive tree.

There is a wooden sun deck by the pool and underneath it is the parking area. A particularly attractive place is the outside dining area with a grill, covered with authentic stone roof, which is traditional to old Dalmatian rural architecture.

In order to provide you with the best possible experience of the healthy and rich Dalmatian cuisine on your holiday in Villa Dalmatia, we offer you catering service from the restaurant Gumonca, a la carte food delivery from the restaurant, as well as a delux half board service with the week menu agreed in advance.

SURROUNDINGS

Near the villa there are some excellent walking and biking routes. The old roads leading towards the next town of Sutivan and Supetar pass by the sea and through the pine woods, and are now used by locals and tourists for recreation: walking, running, biking. The old part of Mirca is the starting point of walking routes Olive grove treks, which go through olive grove fields and Karst scenery. There is also a small Olive oil museum in an old local olive oil factory.

VILLA DALMATIA THROUGH TANJA´S EYES

Villa Dalmatia is a special villa because it actually has a soul. It is situated in the old part of the village, 800 m from the sea in »upper Mirca« while the »lower Mirca« is more lively. That is why this part is quiet and has a special, serene energy.

The latter gives me a chance to focus on the details in the villa which inspire me  - a fairy-tale blue bathroom, romantic bedrooms, a beautiful outdoor barbecue and a fascinating story of an old house (we are sleeping in the place that used to be a sheep barn). An exceptional host family with unique customer service and a gift for breathing new life into an old stone Mediterrranean house impressed me with its care for their guests which I am accustomed to only in the US.

This is a vacation where you can really let go, get  some sleep and bond with your family. Even the desire for an exciting Bol and other Brac tourist attractions which usually surfaces (as I am inevitably drawn to exploring and sports adventures) does not seem to appear here. The atmosphere of the villa and the relaxed energy of the village create a little oasis of peace.
