Boutique Hotel Aristocrat - Why is this hotel special?

Boutique Hotel Aristocrat has an amazingly interesting history. In the 16th Century, a reputable Dubrovnik noble family built their summer residence 3 km outside the hot and stuffy air inside the walls. After the manor survived the turbulent periods during the war and being used as a school in the Communist era, it finally came to be owned by a man that fell in love with it. He bought it, invested 11 million euros into reconstruction and top equipment, succeeding in renewing the former glory of the noble residence. It was transformed into an exclusive boutique hotel with an outstanding customer care.

Holidays in style of nobility

The hotel holds its boutique style in 12 rooms and a suite. If the walls could speak, what stories they would tell! Each room has a unique energy, history and consequently, equipment too. Every piece of furniture was hand–made, crafted in antique style with crests of the most famous Dubrovnik families of nobility; which makes the guests feel even more special and creates an authentic atmosphere of noble life. Each room also holds the most modern equipment: air-conditioning, SAT and PAY TV, a mini bar, a safe and free Wi-Fi internet access.

Perfect harmony of the past and the present

11 rooms size up between 25-30 m², each furnished in a different style of Dubrovnik elegance. The equipment is comprised of a double bed, a bathroom with a tub and in most cases with a separate shower cabin.

Boutique Hotel Aristocrat is situated on a lovely coast in a famous bay Gruž, only 3 km away from the Old Town and only 1,5 km from the famous Copachabana pebble beach. The hotel has a heated outside pool with a jacuzzi, sauna, two outside restaurants, one inside restaurant, two outside bars, an elevator, a parking place that can hold up to 40 cars (equipped with a monitoring camera), a modernly equipped conference room for 40 people, a free Wi-Fi internet access in the entire hotel, a library, a yacht (Hallberg Rassy 53, for 10 people and personnel), a speed boat for 10 people, with personnel available for private transportation and trips.

A blend of glorious past and modern luxury

Hotel Aristocrat offers a high level of privacy and discretion. The hotel, able to house up to 30 people can be rented in entirety or by each individual floor. Several rooms can be connected by a separate entrance. A feeling of staying in a renaissance palace rather than a »regular« hotel is a goal that the personnel strive for.

Boutique Hotel Aristocrat is situated directly near one of Jadran´s greatest assets, the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Famous for its stubborn, persistent, hard-headed and independent nature, the city defied many occupiers through the centuries.

Even during slim chances for independence, when the superiority of the opponents was obvious, Dubrovnik found a way in using diplomacy, bribery and firm faith in St. Blaise – their guardian angel. A remarkable specimen of a historical collage and beautiful architecture was kept for further generations, still symbolically surrounded by firmness – the famous Dubrovnik walls.

Inside these walls, Dubrovnik hides a soft soul, gentle streets, romantic galleries, gracious Dubrovnik ladies and an entire spectre of cultural monuments. What could be better than to take a lovely evening walk on Stradun, enjoying a glass of martini at St. Blaise Church, accompanied by discovering the city´s beauty, the enthusiastic energy of tourists and the game of discovering the true Dubrovnik ladies?

A trip to the Lokrum Island and its beaches is also breathtaking. Famous for an interesting legend – haunted priests cast a spell that whoever shall sleep on the island will lose their life. Despite being born in Dubrovnik, the owner spent most of his life in Sweden, a country famous for warmth, care and love for its citizens. The professional and caring attitude was successfully transmitted onto the hotel personnel, helping to create a greater pleasure and excitement for staying in a 500 year-old manor.

A strive for perfection, impeccable cleanliness, discretion, unobtrusive friendliness, sincere care and complaisance are the characteristics of the personnel. Based on this quality service, many guests have expressed their doubt that any hotel could ever outmatch Hotel Aristocrat. Although not being aware of our anniversary, they created a perfect atmosphere with an exquisite dinner and an incredibly kind attitude. The entire experience of the hotel only enhanced the experience of Dubrovnik, in my view - the most charming and adorable city on Earth. I fell in love with the hotel and the city!
