Apartments Hedonist

Designed and furnished with love, the apartments are a product of a Dalmatian sailor who fell in love with and later married a Spanish woman. She then madly fell in love with Dalmatia, Viganj and the Adriatic Sea, so they built a charming and comfortable nest in three colours (passionate red, refreshing green and soothing orange) for her faraway friends and later for the always welcome tourists.

Everything a modern individual needs on vacation has its place on a smaller surface (27-33 m²): an extremely comfortable double bed, free Wi-Fi, modern bikes which can be rented without charge for the guests, air-conditioning, LCD screen, SAT TV, a surprisingly well-stocked kitchen and a magical balcony with a breathtaking view of Korcula island, the city of Korcula and the sea in the Peljesac channel. The guests are welcome to use the house barbecue and enjoy all the specialities the residence has to offer: home-made olive oil, home-made wine, raki, fruit and vegetables.

Studio apartment Vert is the smallest (27 m²) and is intended for 2 persons. The balcony with its 6m² large surface overlooks the sea.

Studio apartment Bordeaux has a surface of 29 m² and is intended for 2+1 persons having a pull-out single sofa as well as a double bed. The balcony is 6m² large and overlooks the sea.

Studio apartment Venge is the largest (33m²) and is intended for 2+2 persons as it offers a pull-out sofa for 2, suitable for children, as well as a double bed. The balcony is 8 m² large and overlooks the sea.

You can book a beach massage with the host, anything from a classic back and body massage to an excellent acupressure feet massage!

Because the easiest way to get to the first shop is by car, the owners offer a delivery of fresh bread and smaller items every morning, so you won´t have to drive to the shop yourself. How convenient!

There is a private parking area for your vehicle right next to the house. You are also welcome to use the washing machine and you are welcome to bring your pets.

SURROUNDINGS, BEACHES AND TRIPS

Right under the apartment residence is a local street with a parking area and under it there is a path leading to the sea and a private beach, approximately a two-minute walk. The beach is partly pebble, partly concrete as it was made by the hosts.

The famous beach with a beach bar and a surfing and kiting school is a five-minute drive or a ten-minute bike ride away. Shops, restaurants and the post office are a bit closer then the beach.

Viganj%acute;s best feature is the youthful and sporty energy, a surfing and kiting heaven for all generations. The reason for an authentic vacation atmosphere are also no parking restrictions – you can leave your vehicle virtually anywhere and no one will be bothered by it while you follow your feelings and choose the right beach for you without worrying how you have parked your car.

There are two camps full of young kiting and surfing enthusiasts nearby which makes this location along with its numerous pebble beaches serious competition for famous Bol in Brac. The nightlife takes place in bars while all those party enthusiasts can find everything they need in the town Orebic, around 10 km from Viganj.

A trip to Korcula island with a visit to the old town center of Korcula (resembling the one in breathtaking Dubrovnik) and a swim in Pupnat bay are highly recommended.

You can hike to St. Elias (961 m) which is the most famous trekking and mountaineering destination in this part of Dalmatia where apart from admiring the breathtaking views you will also have a chance to learn about the unusual flora and fauna of this peninsula as well as explore the famous Peljesac wine routes. This peninsula is among the best known Croatian wine regions with international recognition in quality and taste. For those with an explorer´s spirit the island Skoji, Lastovo, Mljet and the famous city of Dubrovnik (only 1,5 away) will be the perfect expedition.

APARTMENTS HEDONIST THROUGH TANYA´S EYES

Viganj is the perfect destination for everyone who prefers to actively spend their vacation. I was completely taken with the relaxed nature of the people, an almost bohemian attitude towards everything! The famous Dalmatian saying: »Relax and enjoy!« gets a whole new meaning here. The balconies of the apartments, the epitome of loveliness and modern design, offer a view of the famous surfer beach.

As soon as we noticed numerous surfers and kiters in the water we knew the »mistral had risen«, so we packed our beach gear, sat on a bike and headed to the beach with a beach sport day in sight! Everything depends on the wind when it comes to these sports and if there isn´t any, sitting around in the beach bar quickly becomes boring.

That is why the shade of the apartment balcony was such a better option, the bed right there for an afternoon nap. And when the wind rose, all you had to do was look out of the balcony and you instantly new if it is time for action!

The apartments are less suitable for families with small children, however, they are perfect for couples and families whose children are already active in sport.

When vacationing in these apartments, relaxation is undoubtedly the key word.
